Porter Novelli Winds Up $70K Pro Bono Contract with Impressive Results
Freedom from Hunger and Porter Novelli have completed a six-month pro bono contract that resulted in raised awareness, new revenue and systems to support an ongoing public outreach program. A team of seven PR professionals from Porter Novelli's offices in Campbell, CA, helped Freedom from Hunger secure multiple media placements (including the L.A. Times, Working Mother Magazine, India Press Trust, and dozens of regional newspapers, magazines, radio and TV interviews) that resulted in millions of "impressions." They also provided media training, helped develop a media kit, wrote news releases and media briefings, shared media lists and provided other support to promote our special events. These well-promoted events raised new revenue for Freedom from Hunger's annual fund (amounts still being tallied) and brought in many new donors. Had Freedom from Hunger paid for Porter Novelli's services, the contract would have cost the organization over $70,000. Learn more about Porter Novelli:http://www.porternovelli.com/index.aspx.
