Established in 1989, Accenture is a “global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company.” Accenture collaborates with clients in diverse industries from around the world, helping them to “identify new opportunities, drive process improvements and achieve high performance.” In addition, it conducts formal research in order to identify and share “key practices of high-performance businesses.” Currently, it works in 110 cities and 48 countries.
Since 2005, Freedom from Hunger has worked with Accenture Development Partnerships (ADP), a not-for-profit unit within Accenture that provides “field-based business and technology consultancy services” to organizations in the international development field. Initially, ADP provided support to Reach India to help develop its strategy, scope and value proposition; business model; and operational requirements. ADP is providing similar support to Reach Mexico (Alcance) and Reach West Africa (Avançons) as well as supporting the development of their financial models and helping to facilitate collaboration and communication among all Reach Global and regional programs.
