Principles and Practices of Adult Learning Primer

This primer provides a series of learning activities for use in training education facilitators in the use of Freedom from Hunger’s Credit with Education health and business education modules. Facilitators are responsible for leading learning sessions with groups of learners and must understand the adult learning principles that underlie the modules they are using. While the set of activities presented here is not a full collection of such activities, it does represent a set of principles and practices that are important for Credit with Education facilitators to consider in the delivery of health and business education sessions.
